The Workshop

Why The Workshop exists.

High school rewards chasing credentials over getting good at something real. This is the alternative.

High school is built to turn interest into a line on an application. Grades, clubs, and titles end up mattering more than whether a student is actually getting good at something they care about.

The system hasn't caught up. Not to how students actually learn, and not to how they use AI today. The Workshop is what a different answer looks like: real practitioners, real practice, and a real project, instead of another line on a form.

11th grade, Great Valley High School

Shaurya is an engineer and an entrepreneur who cites Tony Stark as his biggest inspiration. He has four years of programming experience and has helped raise $40K+ across various organizations.

Before The Workshop, he spent two years building FTAD into one of the fastest-growing robotics competitions in the country, where he served as CIO.

The Workshop grew out of that experience, inspired by startup accelerators like Y Combinator and a16z and programs like Hack Club. The goal is to help more high schoolers turn what they care about into something sustainable, the way he did with his own.
